Blueface Just Dropped $2.25 Million on a California Home for His Growing Family, and the Timing of the Purchase Says a Lot About Why He Is Finally Settling Down

A New Chapter, and a Bigger Address

Blueface has closed on a $2.25 million home in Moorpark, California, according to TMZ, which broke the news of the purchase on September 2. The rapper moved into the gated property just weeks after welcoming a newborn son, and the timing is not a coincidence — it is the entire story.

Large luxury California house surrounded by trees

The house itself is built for a family that just got bigger. TMZ reports the property spans more than 5,000 square feet with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, along with mountain views and a four-car garage. That kind of space reads less like a flex and more like a practical answer to a very recent life change: a newborn son means more rooms, more storage, more room to grow, and Blueface apparently wanted that squared away before the baby settled in rather than after.

Real estate agent Christian Crane of Agents of LA represented Blueface in the deal, continuing a working relationship the two built during an earlier transaction involving a Canyon Country property, per TMZ. Also involved was Eric “C-Style” Yokoyama, a former Death Row Records producer turned real estate investor, whose presence in the deal points to the increasingly tight overlap between the music industry and celebrity real estate circles in Southern California.

The closing gift underscored how personal the sale felt to everyone involved. Agents of LA presented Blueface with a custom gold key featuring an image of Jesus Christ, a gesture Tai Savet, the brokerage’s owner and the creator of VH1’s “Love & Listings,” described as fitting for the milestone. Savet told TMZ he could see “another real estate show inspired by this world coming to the urban market,” a nod to how visible celebrity home-buying has become as its own kind of content.

Moorpark itself is a telling choice. The Ventura County city sits roughly 40 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, offering more land and quieter surroundings than the city core, while still keeping Blueface within reach of the industry. For a new father looking to trade nightlife proximity for a yard and extra bedrooms, it is the kind of suburban pivot that has become common among young celebrities once children enter the picture.

Blueface built his name on viral rap hits and an equally viral personal life that has played out largely in public. A multimillion-dollar home purchase tied directly to a new child marks a noticeably domestic turn for an artist better known for chaos than quiet. Whether that quiet lasts is its own story, but for now, the paperwork says he is settling in.
