The estranged husband of “Selling Sunset” star Christine Quinn has put the couple’s Los Angeles home on the market for $5,495,000, according to TMZ, which reported the gated contemporary property hit the market Tuesday, September 9, 2026. The listing lands in the middle of an increasingly contentious divorce between Quinn and Christian Dumontet, who has owned the property since before their marriage.

The sale attempt follows months of legal wrangling over the house. TMZ reported in April that Dumontet had already filed an emergency petition asking the court for exclusive control of the property so he could sell it quickly, citing roughly $27,000 a month in carrying costs, including a $20,000 mortgage payment on a $3.5 million loan plus taxes and insurance. He told the court he’d previously paid $30,000 a month for round-the-clock security and was, at the time, paying about $7,500 a month for a caretaker to look after the empty house. The court denied that emergency request, finding insufficient grounds to act outside the normal divorce proceedings, which pushed the sale to wait for a standard listing instead.

Dumontet’s court filings assert he bought the property in 2019 using only his own funds, before the couple’s marriage, and that Quinn contributed nothing toward the purchase, mortgage, taxes, insurance or upkeep, a claim that speaks directly to how the sale proceeds may eventually get divided. Compass’s own listing data puts the home at 1700 Queens Court in the hills above Los Angeles, a detail consistent with the address named in Dumontet’s earlier court filing.

With the home now formally listed and an open house already held this weekend, the six-figure monthly carrying cost that drove Dumontet back to court in the spring is, for the moment, the clock both sides are racing against.
